The Laurels Playschool has an organised structure for running a playgroup, which is designed to ensure equitable treatment of all people, adults and children alike.

Through our booking in procedure we ensure we are aware of any requirements for special diets, religious views, ethnic and other matters to ensure that we are able to respect those wishes within our policy or equal opportunities and equal treatment for all.

Discrimination due to gender, race, religion, colour, creed, marital status, ethnic or national origin, or political belief has no place in playgroup and it is the duty of all concerned with playgroup to ensure that this does not occur.  If staff or parents believe this policy is not being totally complied with it is their duty to bring the matter to the attention of Catherine Bennett at the earliest opportunity.  If you wish to make this more formal then a complaint can be made to Ofsted at the address provided on our notice board.
